Partial Birth Abortion
First off there is no such thing as partial birth abortion. That is the name that the pro-choice Nazis use to camouflage what the procedure actually is. The correct clinical name is intrauterine cranial decompression or intact dilation and extraction. The names speak for themselves if you actually read them.
Last week, the Supreme Court issued it’s decision in Gonzales v. Carhart, with a 5-4 decision. The decision came from an appeal from the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals who stuck down the law banning partial birth abortion as unconstitutional.
Most people aren’t cognizant as to what partial birth abortion procedure actually is. The following is a very graphic description of that procedure:
In September, 1993, Brenda Pratt Shafer, a registered nurse with thirteen years or experience, was assigned by her nursing agency to an abortion clinic. Since Nurse Shafer considered herself “very pro-choice,” she didn’t think this assignment would be a problem. She was wrong. This is what Nurse Shafer saw:
” I stood at the doctor’s side and watched him perform a partial-birth abortion on a woman who was six months pregnant. The baby’s heartbeat was clearly visible on the ultrasound screen. The doctor delivered the baby’s body and arms, everything but his little head. The baby’s body was moving. His little fingers were clasping together. He was kicking his feet. The doctor took a pair of scissors and inserted them into the back of the baby’s head, and the baby’s arms jerked out in a flinch, a startle reaction, like a baby does when he thinks that he might fall. Then the doctor opened the scissors up. Then he stuck the high-powered suction tube into the hole and sucked the baby’s brains out. Now the baby was completely limp. I never went back to the clinic. But I am still haunted by the face of that little boy. It was the most perfect, angelic face I have ever seen.”
If the Supreme Court had not upheld the partial birth abortion law as constitutional and the world was fair with lots of karma and what goes around comes around, etc, here is what should happen. Every legislator, judge and doctor who endorses, performs or does not vote or rule against partial birth abortion should have their name put into a hat and every time a partial birth abortion is performed a name is drawn and one is performed on the person who’s name is drawn. We can just call it late, late term abortion.
